  1. I chose this article to read because a lot of students are getting bullied at some point. And I think students should know about this. Also I chosed this article because it looks interesting. Another thing is that when I read the sub-title that says "Why do so many kids turn to cyberbullying?". That is why I chose this article to read
Cyberbullying is when someone uses technology to harass, threaten, or even to humiliate you. For example, someone uses a cellphone, computer, or another electronic divice to harass, humiliate, or to threaten you. That is what cyberbullying is. And people should know what cyberbullying is. That is what cyberbullying is and it sounds real scary.
The way I feel with the issue cyberbullying is bad. I feel that way because all the kids out their that are getting cyberbullied are scared and dont know what to do. Also some people committed suicide because of this. But I know that if I can stop this from happening ever, I would stop it and help them kids who are being bullied any type of way. That is the way I feel about this type of issue.
One detail I think is important that every student should know is "How to Protect Yourself from cyberbullying". One way to protect yourself is to Don't feed the bully. I think that is important for everyone to know because a lot of people respond to their bullies with a comment. And that makes it worse. If your getting cyberbullied follow these steps, 1) Don't respond to your bullies messages they send you or tell you. 2) Tell a adult that you think could help you with this problem. And if you follow those 2 steps I think your going to be just fine.
These are things you could do if your getting cyberbullied. 1) Don't share a paasword-Never share your email, cellphone, or social-networking-site password with anyone-not even your best friends. That is what I mean when I say "Don't share your password". 2) CHoose your password carefully-Select a password that is easy to remember but hard to guess. 3)Don't feed your bully-Don't respond to your bully's messages, instead tell a adult you think could help you with this problem. And last but not lease, 4) Save all evidence-There's always a written record of the communication, Don't destroy messages that can be used to support your case. And those are tips to protect youself from cyberbullying.

  2. I agree with Eric Santana about how people use technology to bully people because mostly in the news they mostly talk about people being bullied either by technology or by face to face. Also I agree with Eric because they use technology to bully people because they don’t want to face the person.

  3. I chose to read this article because lots of kids are getting cyberbullied and I want to know what could happen to us when we get cyberbullied or cyberbulling some one ealse.
Cyberbulling is when some-one threating you,or humilate you. They can do this buy using an electronic device.
Its sad people are being cyberbullied, some people even commit suicide. When you are being cyberbullied you will be off track and scared.
You guys should pick a password that you can remember but think of one "no one" would know, dont share with any one!Not even your best friend. This way no one would hack you or do something in your account that you dont want others to know.
If your being cyberbullied you should "report abuse" that person. So then he will get banned from that account .(make sure you have a good reason to reportthem or you could get banned)

  4. I chose this article to write about because when you are doing cyber space bullying you are hurting the people you are sending to. The people who suffer this become so embarrassed and afraid to talk to their mom or dad. They are threaten and sometimes they send death notes. In my opinion this is a horrible thing to happen to anyone and the worst part is that there is no escape.
When I first heard of Cyberbullying I thought it was a website where kids bully each other. But it actually is when one person uses a computer, cell phone, etc to harass, threaten and embarrass another person. In addition, girls are the ones that normally do this not boys. The girls who do this spread hurtful comments and rumors around their school uses cell phones, etc. Most victims know their bullies.
The way I feel of Cyberbullying is furious and words I can not think of. This is a very wrong thing to do to one another. The reason way I feel this way is because the victims sometimes become depressed and don't even won't to talk to their parents because of this. They are embarrassed everyday they come to school and they can't do noting to avoid this. The people who do this is extremely mean and have no conscience. The worst part of them is that they laugh at their victims pain and suffering.
There is a campaign for this called "Stop Bullying Now!" Also nearly one students in five middle schools have been Cyberbullied. The Cyberbullies do this because they feel freer doing this online . And instead of saying it to the person directly. Also you can be bullied just by logging on your computer or cell phone. They will write anything that is cruel to the victim or to hurt them. The younger the victim is they become depressed and anxious. Some of them could not take it and did suicide, they felt powerless and did this. Every single detail I wrote down is important because if you are being Cyberbullied you should know what lays a head and also not to be afraid of talking to your parents about this.
Some tips for kids who are being Cyberbullied is to saved all of the massages the people had sent you. Also never share your password with anyone even your best friend. In addition, choose your password carefully, make sure its not to easy or not to hard. And never respond to the Cyberbully's messages because they will keep on doing it. Some of my own tips are to talk to your parents about this because the faster you do the faster they will leave you alone. And try to ignore them at your best act like you don't even care.

  5. Eric I liked your respond to the article because you put a lot of effort in it and you did your best. And I agree with you when you feel bad with their victims.

  6. Also I liked the tips you had put because you read the article and you had made it into your own word.Sometime interesting about the article is that the person would be so cruel to do this. It is like they have no conscience or even have guilt inside them.

  7. I chose this article because I found it interesting with the title. It got me wondering in my mind.Cyberbulling is when you go into the internet and send angry e-mails and harass other people.I feel sad because the people can just make up stuff that is not true. In the past three years twenty-four people committed suicide.I think this is important because look what they done to them self. One tip is to just report it to your parents or police officer. -Bryan Villalba

  8. I like Diana respond because it’s specific and clear. I like to agree with the fact that many people commit suicide because they don’t want to face their fears and I think that is extraordinary wrong because people kill their self at a young age instead of living a life.

I choose to read this article because i have been cyberspace bullied before. Cyberspace bullying is when someone threatens you or harasses you. I strongly feel sad of cyberspace bullying because maybe the person who is getting bullied is innocent. One important detail i found in the article and think every middle schooler should know is when you get cyberspace bullied you should not delete the messages so you can present them as evidence to the school or law officials. If you are dealing with cyberspace bulling you should
1.Pay no mind don't respond to the bully
    2. Tell a parent or guardian
3.Tell your parent or guardian to take you to the police

  10. I choose to read this article because i have been cyberspace bullied before once in the fifth grade when i was on aim. Cyberspace bullying is when you are threatened or harassed on the computer by e-mail. I strongly fell sad about it because that person might be innocent and did not do anything to the the other person. One important detail i think is important is if you ever get cyberspace bullied do not erase the message because that can support your case. One tip i have for middle schoolers that are being cyberspace bullied is that do not give your emails to anyone only people you may know.

I agree with Eric Santana because people do get scared and don't now what to do about it.i fell sad about it because some people could be innocent. Also i kind of think that Eric should have not copied word from word. But you should use your password carefully something you can remember and something no one can guess.

  12. Adriana, I like how you made a text to self connection with this article. I appreciate you sharing your experience with us. I am concerned that students are being cyberbullied and they are not sure how to get help. I am hoping this article will help those who might have been cyberbullied. For students who had never heard of the term "cyberbullying" before, I hope they can help themselves as well as others deal with this serious issue.

  13. I agree with Tiffany because i think it is wrong to kill yourself at a young age and i also agree with her because Diana was nice also it was clear.

  17. I chose this article because it sounded interesting and also because I thought it was fiction. I thought that because of the word cyberspace, it had the word “space” in it so I thought it was going to be about bullies in space. So clearly there are no bullies in space. I learned from the article that cyber bullies are is kids bulling over the internet. It’s also more annoying because they can bully you 24/7.When you turn on your computer or check your messages in your phone. I feel anger because some people sometimes look for ways to do more harm then less. One in portent detail is that 24 teens have committed suicide for the past three months. That’s important because that means that there is a lot of bulling. All the kids don’t deserve to kill themselves just because a bully is torching them. If your dealing with a issue like this tell a trusted adult, like a parent or teacher.

  18. I will like to agree will Eric and Tiffany because using techonolgy to bully other people is wrong. Yesterday, somebody was blackmailing me this message. I don't even know that person. This shows you should talk to people you know. Also not to use techolongy to hurt or threaten any body.

  19. I agree with Adriana L. Toribio because some kids could be innocent when playing an online game or doing something online. Also some shows show whatt happens after they become friends but in real life shows.

  20. I agree with Adriana. I agree wiht Adriana because i also strongly feel sad about cyberspace bullying.I feel sad because no matter what the victim is always going to feel mad or sad.Cyberspace bullying is ALWAYS a big problem.

  21. The reason why i chose to write about Cyberbullying is because I've heard about this subject before.Cyberbullying is bullying with divice such as computer phones etc. I feel that the concept is dumb. You can just get out the divice. One thing that everyone should know that cyberbullying can cause depreshion and suiside. One that you can do if your a victim of cyberbullying is to turn to someone that you can trust for help.

  22. i agree with you Adriana L. Toribio because your just feeding the bully when your talking the bully

  24. I agree with Mcsynidy Taylor because it's better to talk to people you know already rather than talking to someone you want to know. These days people have their ways of tracking your computer/laptop down and you don't know what could really happen next.

  29. Diana, I also noticed that girls mostly cyberbully. In the article all the examples they did were of girls threatning each other and it usually affects their friendship.

  30. Bryan, I also feel sad when I read about how people commit suiside just because someone either wanted to make a rumor or was just very mad at that person.

  31. I chose “Cyberbulling” because it was the one that caught my attention and something I can relate to. Cyberbullying is when you harass someone online by posting mean messages, death threats and getting your friends to do it too. I think cyberbulling is inappropriate and wrong. It is horrible way to solve problems. Some cyberbullying is illegal and kids should not take the risk of getting caught. If you get cyberbullied print the evidence and tell an adult.

  32. I liked the way Diana wrote her report. I felt like a adult wrote this. I also like the way she uses big words in her report. I am proud of Diana because I can tell she put loads of effort in this report.

  33. I chose this article to read is that I wanted to know what cyberbullying is. Cyberbullying is when you bully someone on th computer and the phone. The issue I feel about Cyberbullying is scared and not scared. I say this because it is silly to be scared of going on the computer. One tip for people you is being cyberbullyed is to tell a peer or an audlt so you can work something out. Something one middle school student should know is to keep your password to yourself and don't share it make it easy for you to remember but hard for other.

I chose this article to read because if a person is sending a text from a friend, and it is bad, stop! cyber bullyong is bad and can hurt other peoples feelings. I feel sad about people getting cyberbullied. In the article, a girl named anna gets treated bad by her friend mirenda. she decides to stop her friend ship. this is good because instead of cyberbullying, she decides to end her friend ship. A tip for who can be dealing with a cyberbulling issue, esppecially girls, is to stop cyberbullying. It is bad to cyber bully someone. Cyberbullying is to harass someone by texting mean messages, death thrats and putting friends to do it too. so stop cyberbullying. I agree with Kevin that the title is intresting, and you can learn that cyber bullying is bad.

  35. I chose to read and write about Cyberbullying, because it had the word bullying in it and I would liked to know how to stop it from happening. Cyberbullying is when you harass, threaten, or humiliate you with electronic devices like cell phones and computers. I feel mad, because now people aren't safe from bullying at home. I think everybody should know that you can press charges on a Cyberbully. This is important because that is a way to help stop Cyberbullying. If you are a victim of Cyberbullying, then don't reply or delete the message they gave you, because you can't press charges with no evidence.

  36. I agree with Diana when she said "The way I feel of cyberbulling is furious". I don't understand why people do it. It could ruin someone's life. I have never heard of some thing like that before.
